The votes have been counted, and I once again didn't make it through the primary. I'm very disappointed but will not give up the fight. I realize that my residency here in Ashippun is short, but I really do have a strong passion for this town. Maybe I will try again next year, Hey 3rd time is a charm right?
Thank you to all that supported me. I truly do appreciate it.

Preprimary election notes
I’ve been hitting the campaign trail hard over the weekend. Met
a lot of folks and have to say we have a great town. So many friendly people
who care about what is going on in Ashippun. I teamed up with Ryan Jacobs this
weekend. Ryan is running for the Seat #3 position. He is a police officer in Waukesha
County and will be a great addition to the board with a law enforcement
perspective. I have talked to so many people after the forum last Tuesday I can
honestly say that I am encouraged that I decided to run.
Many of you are concerned about taxes not being handled
appropriately. If elected I promise to never forget that the hard working
people of this town is where our budget money comes from. I will work to ensure
that the funding of projects and purchases for the budget is done wisely. I
feel the best cost includes the best value not the best price. I live by the adage
“you get what you pay for”. Which means that if a bid comes in way lower that
the others there is something to be concerned about.
I look forward to meeting more people in the next weeks
following the primary. Please remember to vote this Tuesday, I am asking you to
put your trust in me and vote, David Adkins for Supervisor #1. I really appreciate
your support.
